User Guide: Employee OnBoarding User Guide
Every company has to handle the coordination of the distinct departmental processes involved in setting up new employee access. These processes include IT, Communications, and the Facilities departments. It is a set of processes that are the same with every new hire, and it is a process that is highly audited, because it involves approvals for system access.
This application is a combination of a number of customer processes for employee on-boarding outside of Human Resources (meaning the application does not contain a Human Resource workflow). The application addresses the situation where a new employee is coming onboard and might need IT, facilities, security, and communications services. For example, a new employee might need a computer with some software, a cubicle, building access with a badge, and a phone.
